I've never really cared for it. Every year or two (most recently about two months ago), I go there for dinner to see if I've changed my opinion, or they've changed their style.
We've both been consistent, so if you like it, I think you're in good luck, it will be the same in the future.
I find the food good, but a little too pretentious. The menu doesn't always convey the actuality of the dishes, for example, I tried their meatloaf recently which failed to mention that it would be covered with some sort of spicy hot sauce. Totally blew the meal for me.
My girlfriend tried their ribs which were good, but loaded with massive fat (like above and beyond "normal"). Overall it was bad. Crabcakes... skip them.
I went their for a brunch about six months ago and their breakfast and salads were ok.
Either way, it's worth a shot, if you get lucky, and you like their style, then you've got yourself a winner for awhile. I've found them to be a loser for awhile.
Luck! Steve. -

Re: miss millie's?
Mon, September 26, 2005 - 7:24 AMI used to be really into the dinner at Miss Millie's. This last week I took my parents there, and the service was a little more hit and miss than I remembered it being on previous visits... but it might have just been our waiter.
The misses:
My Dad ordered wine. The glasses were carefully doled out, and upon presenting the bottle my Dad realized they were about to give us champagne and not the white we requested, so back went the glasses, new glasses were laid, and finally the right wine was brought. My scallop ceviche appetizer was actually brought to the table without the fish. It was quickly fixed, but the fact it made it out of the kitchen half-plated was a little wierd.
The hits:
All the dishes that made it to the table intact were actually really good.
